Blessings and Personal Charms
In many traditions, people ask for a blessing at a new start: a new home, a marriage, a birth or a new job. A personal charm is a small item prepared for one person to keep from that blessing.
You can ask for a blessing on its own or with a charm. Any charm is a physical item that Shakir prepares and blesses before it is sent, and the details are agreed with you at a consultation.

Meaning and tradition
Blessings for a new home, a marriage, a child or a new business are part of daily life in many cultures. A small item kept from the blessing reminds you of the occasion and of the people who wished you well.
In many African traditions, a blessing is a way of asking for good things for a person, a home or a new start. Shakir's practice comes from African tradition. What a blessing means is a matter of belief.

What it cannot do
- A blessing marks an occasion and expresses good wishes. It does not promise any outcome.
- A personal charm is a keepsake and a traditional symbol. It is not a treatment or a safety device.
- Neither can change another person's choices or solve a problem that needs practical help.
How to order
- 1Tell us the occasion or reason for the blessing, and who it is for.
- 2At the consultation, Shakir agrees the blessing with you and, if you want a charm, describes it and sends a photo. The all-inclusive price, any delivery and the timing are agreed at the same time.
- 3Once you have paid, the blessing is carried out, and any charm is prepared and sent to you.
