Love & Relationship Rituals

Why No Ritual Can Guarantee Another Person's Feelings or Decisions

Published by Witch Doctor Shakir

No ritual can guarantee how another person feels or what they decide, because every adult makes their own choices. A love or reconciliation ritual is a traditional practice focused on your own hopes and intentions. It is not a way to control someone else, and an honest practitioner will tell you that before you pay.

This article explains why we say this on every love service page, what a love ritual can offer, and how to spot an offer that promises more than anyone can deliver.

Every person makes their own choices

Love, trust and the wish to return to a relationship come from inside a person. They are shaped by that person's past, their family, their worries, their plans and many other things that change over time.

Traditions differ on how rituals work. But no practitioner can honestly promise to override another adult's free choice. Saying otherwise would mean claiming control over someone who has not agreed to it.

Respecting the other person matters

A relationship that lasts needs both people to want it. If someone has left, or has said no, their decision deserves respect, even when it hurts.

It helps to be honest with yourself about what you are asking for. "I hope we can talk again" is a hope that a ritual can hold. "Make them leave their new partner" is a demand on another person's life, and it is not something we will take on.

That is why our love rituals are framed around your own intention: hope for love, a new start, or a blessing on a relationship you are already in. None of our rituals is meant to force a named person to love you, come back or stay against their wishes.

What a love ritual can offer

People ask for love rituals for different reasons. Some want to mark the end of a hard time and start again. Some want a blessing on a relationship they already have. Some hope a broken relationship can be mended, and want to put that hope into a traditional practice that means something to them.

What a ritual gives you is a set time, carried out with care, to focus on what you want. Some people find that brings them calm or a sense of direction. What happens next still depends on the people involved.

If that is what you are looking for, you can read about our love spells, reconciliation rituals and lost lover rituals. Each page says what the ritual involves and what it cannot do.

Warning signs in a love spell offer

Be careful with any provider who:

  • Promises that a named person will come back by a set date.
  • Says the spell cannot fail, or that the result is certain.
  • Asks for more money after you have paid, saying the first ritual was blocked or not strong enough.
  • Tells you that someone has cursed your relationship and you must pay to lift it.
  • Pushes you to decide quickly, or to keep the arrangement secret from your family.
  • Asks you to pay with gift cards, cryptocurrency or a money transfer to a personal account.

If you are going through a breakup

A breakup can be one of the hardest times in a person's life. Asking for a ritual is your choice, and it may matter a great deal to you. Looking after yourself matters too: rest, food, and time with people you trust.

If you feel low for a long time, or have thoughts of harming yourself, please speak to a doctor or a local support line. If you are not safe in a relationship, contact local support services or the police. A ritual does not replace that help.

What we tell you before you request a ritual

Before you pay, Shakir explains what the ritual involves, what it costs and what it cannot do. You will not be told that a result is certain.

If you later want a further ritual, it is a new request with its own price, agreed before you pay, and you are free to say no. Read how services work and the service disclaimer for the full picture.
